Theydon Bois Branch Surgery
Following on from the work to replace the windows and doors, in March '22, we will now be painted, decorating and renovating the interior of the Theydon Bois Surgery. For this reason the branch surgery will be closed during the month of July '22 while this work takes place. Many thanks for your patience while this work is completed.
BOOK YOUR BLOOD TEST APPOINTMENTS ONLINE
You can now book your blood test appointments online by visiting https://www.pah.nhs.uk/our-services/service/blood-tests-30/and using the SwiftQueue system. You can arrange appointments at a location convenient for you and experience shorter waiting times. We are offering the following types of appointments:
Telephone consultations are available with a number of our Healthcare Professionals including our Dietician, First Contact Practitioner and Social Prescriber
A secure video consultation link will be sent to you via SMS
- Face-to-face consultations
All patients requiring a face-to-face consultation will be screened. Our vulnerable and shielding patients can also be seen at one of our designated branches (low risk zone known as our 'green site') if required . Our Healthcare Professionals will be wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and patients will be required to wear face coverings.
To ensure the safety and to ensure that patients are directed to the correct healthcare professional all appointments are currently booked via the telephone.
FACE MASK EXEMPTION LETTER REQUESTS
As per guidance from the North & South Essex Local Medical Committee, GPs are not in a position to provide individual risk assessments & letters for patients who feel they should be exempt from wearing a face mask/covering.
SHARPS BIN COLLECTION FORM
We no longer can take in sharps bins at The Limes Medical Centre. You will need to complete the attached form and bring to The Limes Medical Centre for a clinician to sign and send to the Council. Once this has been completed the council will come and collect your sharps bins directly.
